The Necklace I Designed While Packing My Suitcase
It was an ordinary day. I was packing my suitcase for a 3-day trip.
I had already done the hard part β I found the perfect outfit for every occasion. Casual daytime looks. An elegant evening option. Something comfortable for travelling.
But then came the jewelry.
I opened my jewelry box and suddenly everything felt overwhelming. So many pieces. So many choices. Nothing seemed to go with everything. It didn't make sense to pack five necklaces for three days.
And then a thought hit me:
"What if one single necklace could complete every look?"
The key was colour.
If I had one necklace β simple, elegant, black β and a set of colourful rings I could swap in and outβ¦ I could change the whole look in seconds. Casual. Elegant. Boho. Playful. All with the same necklace.
So I made it.
First I crocheted the black necklace β perfect for my travel outfits. Then I made the rings. Colourful, chunky, interchangeable. I combined them, mixed them, played with them.
By the time I closed my suitcase β I had one necklace, a handful of rings, and an outfit for every occasion. β¨
That necklace has been around my neck ever since. It is the design I wear more than anything else from my own collection. Every single day.
And now it can be yours. π§Άπ
