Black & Gold Reversible Tote Bag with Matching Purse

One bag. Two looks. Black velours or black and gold brocade.

Turn to the black velours side for an understated look, or wear the black and gold brocade side when you want your bag to make a statement. Black braided faux-leather handles with gold-coloured metal rings and carabiner clips bring the two looks together.

Designed and handmade by me in Hamburg, this reversible tote is part of my five-bag limited-edition collection, born from a challenge to give leftover fabrics a new purpose. Two contrasting fabrics become one bag you can style your own way.

Everyday details

The generous 60 × 40 × 20 cm shape offers room for books, shopping and everyday essentials. A large pocket on the brocade side offers extra space to keep things close at hand. The included matching purse is made from the same black and gold brocade fabric, completing the set.

The main bag has an open top with no zip, snap or other fastening. This is an intentional design choice: I enjoy the easy access of a deep, open tote and have used this design successfully in bags I made for myself.

• Bag: 60 cm wide × 40 cm high × 20 cm deep
• Two black braided faux-leather handles, each 60 cm long
• Handle drop: 36 cm from the bag’s top edge to the inside top of the handle, including clips and attachment rings
• Gold-coloured metal rings and carabiner clips

Care

Spot clean or professional dry clean only. Do not machine wash.
